That is not likely. However, there will hopefully be an update for OE in WinXP SP2 some time after Vista is released.

Is that for sure? I connect to Hotmail with my current OE (xp sp2) and will not wish to lose that feature, in windows vista mail there are no hotmail support anymore :(

I'm sure that Hotmail support went... either because it was open to Premium customers, or that Windows Live Mail was being introduced :o)

Windows Live Mail does not relate to Windows Vista. Live Mail is a part of the Live Services Microsoft launched in November of 2005. Well, let me return the favour Rob. :) You are partially wrong, I have been using MSN/Hotmail through OE since August 2000. I tried signing up in Windows Mail in build 5270 and it, it gives me POP3 and IMAP as the only available options. I tried importing my OE .iaf file into Windows Mail, but it refused saying its not supported. -- Andre Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta FAQ for MS AntiSpy http://www.geocities.com/marfer_mvp/FAQ_MSantispy.htm

HTTP support in Windows Mail or Outlook Express waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay before the idea of Windows Live Mail came about. Microsofts response was, nobody was using it, the same applied to Office Outlook HTTP WebDAV support. I think someone mentioned it that accounts created after September 23rd 2004 would not support it.
